SIMMOD Simulation Engine Information Info SIMMOD is now supported by the FAA's Technical Center. The current official version is 2.5. Both Windows and Linux versions are available. Cost The SIMMOD simulation engine is free. Due to the complex nature of the data inputs and outputs from SIMMOD several third-party vendors offer data preparation tools which can ease SIMMOD study creation tasks. Availability The SIMMOD simulation engine can be obtained from the FAA. Additional information about obtaining the core SIMMOD simulation engine will be made available soon.
