I2S Toolbars

The I2S program has two toolbars designed to allow you to save your study, navigate the map graphics more efficiently, and get context sensitive help.

The horizontal toolbar located directly below the menus contains the following buttons:

  • Save button - Saves the current settings if any edits have been preformed. The save button will be displayed in red () when the settings should be saved.

  • Scene revert - Returns the user to the default scene. Please note that a study must have been previously defined and that same study's center latitude/longitude location must have been designated.

  • Zoom - When activated, (press to activate) the left mouse button will either zoom-in or zoom-out on the map graphics depending on the direction the mouse cursor is dragged. Further instructions for zooming can be found here.

Note: If you have a three button mouse, or a mosue with a center scroll-wheel, you may use the middle button to zoom-in.

  • Pan - When activated, (press to activate) the left mouse button will pan the map graphics depending on the direction the mouse cursor is dragged. Further instructions for panning can be found here.

Note: You may use the right mouse button to pan at any time.

  • Measure - When activated, (press to activate) the left mouse button will draw a measurement line and associated distance on the map graphics. Further instructions for measuring can be found here.

  • Help - Context sensitive help. Choose this button then pick the item you want to learn more about.
