Set Attributes on Layer's

Description:

The Set Attributes control allows the user to modify the color, visibility, priority and size of layers displayed by APECS. Once modified, the attributes will be stored in a file and reloaded by APECS on restarting the program.

Elements Described:

Save - Press the Save button to save the attribute changes which have been made.

Color Palette - Click on a color to modify the color attribute of the currently selected list item. The Color Palette also has tabs at the top of it so that hue, saturation and other color attributes may be modified.

Attributes List - Choose a item from the list to modify. Items which have a numeral in parenthesizes to the left of their name have a priority associated with them. All items with a priority (including QGF files) will be drawn in sorted priority order.

Always Apply - Click the Always Apply checkbox to turn on the immediate application of the attributes to the map as they are modified.

To Map - When always Apply is turned off it is necessary to press the To Map button to make the changes in attributes become displayed.

Color Status - The Color Status button indicates the current color of the selected item. Pressing this button does not change any attributes.

Visibility Button - Press the Visibility button to change whether a layer is visible or not. If the eye icon is open then the item is visible, if the eye icon is closed then the item is not visible.

Priority - Enter a integer value to modify the priority of the selected item. The value may be negative if necessary.

Size - Some layers may have a size attribute associated with them. Enter a positive number to change the size of these attributes.
