Aircraft Information

Description:

The Aircraft Information Tool displays relevant information about an aircraft which was clicked on (via the left mouse button) by the user. Header type information is displayed in the top portion of the tool and path information is displayed in the lower portion of the tool.

Upon clicking on an aircraft with the left mouse button the full path of that aircraft is highlighted on the map graphics display.

The Aircraft Information Tool allows the analyst to open additional Aircraft Information Tools, save the data shown on the current tool to a file, copy the data to the clipboard, to change the elements within the map graphics display, and to retrieve previously clicked on aircraft.

Aircraft Information Elements:

New - Open a new Aircraft Information Tool.

Save - Save the information contained in the Aircraft Information Tool to a file.

Copy - Copy the information contained in the Aircraft Information Tool to the clipboard.

Options - Opens the Options Window which will allow the user to modify what is displayed on the map graphics.

Recently Selected - Keeps a running log of the most recently clicked on aircraft. Choosing from this list immediately switches the data displayed to that of the selected aircraft.

Header Data - Displays static information about the currently selected aircraft.

Data Divider - Use this tool to hide or resize either the Header data or Path data views.

Actual - Indicates that the map graphics should display the SIMMOD link node path traveled by the aircraft.

Smoothed - Indicates that the map graphics should display a smoothed SIMMOD link node path traveled by the aircraft.

Aircraft Path Data - Displays pertinent path data for the selected aircraft. Fields displayed include:
